As a trade-dependent economy and NAFTA member nation, Canada is one of the major exporters to the United States. According to PVMI member and York University professor Bernard Wolf, “The supply chains that run through Canada, the US and Mexico are unbelievably intricate.” Given all the uncertainty surrounding foreign trade, it’s imperative to maintain the crucial Canada-US relationship.
