Four Fallacies About Trade and Globalization

During the recent U.S. presidential election, trade was a topic of much heated debate. Globalization raised concerns over foreign competition, and job loss and reduced wages domestically. PVMI member Ram Mudambi, professor of international business strategy at Temple University, suggests that these fears are unfounded. Most of the value creation in advanced economies is centered on services, not manufacturing.
