Hotel
A block of rooms has been reserved at The Study at University City. The hotel is located on the corner of 33rd & Chestnut Streets. Please use this link to make your reservation by no later than Friday, May 12th.
There is valet parking available at the hotel for $39 per night. Guests may also park at the Drexel University Parking Garage (34th and Ludlow) for a daily weekday flat fee of $13 (7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m).
Conference Parking
Parking in the immediate area is limited to a self-park parking garage located at 38th and Walnut Streets, across from Huntsman Hall. This garage is closed weekdays from 12:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m. Daily parking rates average $21 per day (subject to change). Credit cards are accepted at this lot. There is valet parking (even for non-guests) at The Inn at Penn (37th and Sansom) for $29 per day. Wharton is not responsible for parking arrangements or security of automobiles.
Travel from Philadelphia International Airport
Taxi: A metered cab ride to the University City and Center City area costs about $30 plus gratuity and takes 20 to 25 minutes. Cabs are readily available at the airport.
Shuttle Van: Shuttles generally cost $10 for a one-way trip plus gratuity. After collecting your baggage, find the ground transportation phone bank, and dial “14″.
Airport Express Train: The SEPTA R1 airport train departs every half-hour for 30th Street Station. The fare is $7, cash only. The ride takes 22 minutes. From 30th Street Station, take a taxi to the hotel or conference.
Travel from AMTRAK at 30th Street Station
Taxi: Taxis are readily available at 30th Street Station. The 5-10 minute cab ride to the University City and Center City area costs approximately $5.00–$10.00 plus gratuity.
Taxis to the airport or train station at the end of the conference on Saturday: If you are interested in sharing a cab to the airport, the train station or Center City please fill out the scheduling assistant at the registration table. You can refer back to it later on Saturday to coordinate cab shares.
